Trust & Safety

A proxy network grounded in clear, responsible use

PuraRoute brings compliance expectations, account risk controls and network security into one governance approach. We use risk-based measures to identify unusual activity, support lawful public-data access, and reserve the right to restrict or decline high-risk uses.

This page describes our governance principles. It is not evidence that a particular customer, order or use case has completed a specific review.

Our principles

Balancing access with responsible use

A proxy network should help teams conduct lawful work—not weaken website rules, privacy rights or legal responsibilities. Three enduring principles guide our approach.

Promote lawful use

Customers must have the rights needed for their targets, data, request rates and business purpose, and must follow applicable law, contractual limits and site rules.

Identify and reduce risk

We may use risk signals to understand customers, organizations and intended uses, and may request more information, restrict or decline suspicious activity.

Protect accounts and information

Protected sessions, access controls and careful credential handling help reduce unnecessary exposure and support account and network integrity.

Governance framework

Layered controls from account signals to responsible use

Risk is not identical for every customer or use case. We select controls that match the information available and the level of risk instead of applying one mechanical process to every purchase.

01

Account and business context

Collect the basic information needed to provide the service, protect accounts and support compliance purposes.

02

Risk-based KYC

When risk or compliance requirements are triggered, we may verify identity, organization details or intended use.

03

Acceptable-use boundaries

Clearly prohibit fraud, unauthorized access, infringement and other unlawful or high-risk activity.

04

Ongoing risk management

Use unusual signals, complaints and activity context to investigate, restrict or terminate service when appropriate.

Responsible use

Clear direction on what we support and refuse

Customers remain responsible for acting lawfully and obtaining required authorization. These principles help teams assess a use case before using proxy resources.

Lawful public-data access

Support lawful research, monitoring, testing and business analysis while respecting target-site rules and relevant rights.

Reasonable access controls

Set request rates according to the target's capacity and the business need, avoiding disruption, damage or improper burden.

No fraud or unauthorized activity

The service must not be used for fraud, intrusion, credential attacks, bypassing authorization or other unlawful activity.

Action when necessary

We may request an explanation, restrict access or stop service when activity conflicts with policy, legal requirements or network-safety standards.

Privacy and security

Risk review does not mean unlimited collection

KYC and other controls should serve defined purposes. We aim to limit information handling to what is needed to provide services, protect accounts, investigate risk and meet applicable obligations.

  • Set the information scope according to the risk and compliance purpose
  • Use access controls and protected systems to limit exposure
  • Keep relevant records only as needed for service, security, disputes or legal requirements
  • Never present a completed review as a permanent guarantee of future customer behavior
